Assignment 9- Fabrication Tools 1: Measured Contexts

For this assignment you will be documenting an existing space in EVDS.  This space while familiar to you (perhaps overly so) is designed with a series of elements and components that may not be immediately obvious to you.  Your task will be to document the fourth floor studio in teams of 3-4 students.  You will measure the room and take notes, produce a series of drawings that document the space and layout a document sheet that includes all of these drawings.

Required Drawings (Scope measure and draw to exterior wall surface of the room)

Annotated images, sketches and notes that are to be used to produce the final drawings.

Plan 1/8″ = 1′-0″ (call out all wall sections and elevations)

Wall Sections of each wall condition 1/4″ = 1′-0″

4 Interior Elevations 1/8″ = 1′-0″

1 Ceiling Plan 1/8″ = 1′-0″

CAD Drawings should be compiled and annotated appropriately on one sheet. Sketches and notes should be compiled on a separate sheet.
